Ciara is back with a single featuring The-Dream from her up coming album. I love them both and even more when they do a collab together! The last song they did together, "Lover's Thing" was super powerful and just fell in love. I don't know if this one can top it but i till aprove this song. The Tenderloin Project Print Show

Last summer, The Tenderloin Project represented a look by Sean Desmond into San Francisco’s poor and lower district. The project also shows a collaboration with Black Scale. Part 2 to the original collaboration will take place later next month with five new t-shirts. A show of all print will be on April 9th, 2010 at the Medicine Agency. Finally! New Bloody Beetroots

The Bloody Beetroots have finally released a new, an absolutely massive track titledDomino. It comes off their recent EP which is also titled Domino. The song starts off a bit slow and whispy, but by the 1:40 mark, you're jamming hard. It is safe to say that the classic Beetroot style is back, and in full force. I began to worry about the direction theBeets were going when Romborama was release. It was a bit too eclectic for my taste, as I was expecting tracks that would live up to Rombo, Warp, and Dimmakcommunication. Don't get me wrong, Romborama was a good album, but it just felt like I was listening to another artist, not my precious Bloody Beets. Anyways, they're back and with a vengeance. Dallas Mavericks guard Caron Butler was fined $25,000 by the NBA for directing inappropriate language toward fans. It happened within 9.9 seconds remaining in the second period of the Mavericks’ 101-89 loss to the Portland Trail Blazers on Thursday at the Rose Garden. 
Gilbert Arenas brings handguns into his team's lockeroom and gets fined $5,000. Caron Butler uses inappropriate language and gets fined $25,000? Fuck Caron Butler and I hate the mavericks but I think there is something wrong with that. 

Late Night Eats LA -Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles

One of the best place's to get comfort food in LA is rosco's chricken and waffles. I know it might sound crazy to have chicken and waffles together in the same meal, but it taste's amazing! You can't find anything like it. The waffles just melt in your mouth especially with the whipped butter they serve. Theyy have a hint of cinnamon and are super addicting. Nobody has waffles this good. The fried chicken goes perfectly with them. I always order a side or mash potatoes with gravy and mac'n'cheese. If you really don't like waffles and chicken they have other things on the menu like really good breakfast items. They have multiple locations and they are even open late. This is one place that everyone has to go just to experience it!

These are beautiful, not just the color, but how they sit underneath a boot cut. I honestly dislike Kanye & think he's a complete asshole, but I do give him props for these shoes. They came out last spring/summer 09' & last time I checked these shoes were $960. They are overpriced but I love the way they look. Thats a crazy price for shoes but they are super sick, it's ok to dream.

Wizards' Arenas Spend 30 Days in Halfway House..

Gilbert Arenas from the Washington Wizards was ordered today to spend 30 days in a halfway house, 400 hours of community service, and a $5,000 fine for his conviction on gun charges from a locker-room fight with a teammate. Arenas and Crittenton, mates had a fight over a card game and threatened eachother coming back from a road game Dec. 19. Two days later, Arenas brought his guns to the locker room. Crittenton then got his own gun and showed it to him. Arenas then brang several guns to the team locker room and set them near Javaris Crittenton's locker with a sign telling him to "PICK 1." Arenas clammed he was guilty of violating the city's gun laws in a Dec. 21 at Verizon Center.

Arenas said "Every day, I wake up wishing it did not happen."

Haze was born in New York City in 1961. During his early years as graffiti writer in the 70's Haze was tagging the name "SE3" before his popular identity as "Haze". He is also known as one of the earliest designers of streetwear clothing. He has Haze Brand stores and a show room here in LA. His style is different from a lot of graffiti artists ive seen, more abstract & simple. Haze's success inspirers me to push my artistic skills and is a good example of someone that made it far using his passion for art.

Shanghai Expo 2010

I had to share this because it is just so damn cool. Construction workers and organizers in Shanghai, China are busily completing tasks ahead of the planned opening of the 2010 World Expo on May 1st - planned to be the largest World Expo in history. The theme of the Expo is "Better City, Better Life", and is scheduled to run until October 31, 2010. In recent months, large construction and renovation projects have dominated much of Shanghai, in preparation for becoming the World's stage on May 1st. Up to 800,000 visitors are expected each day - a total of 70 million visitors in all visiting exhibitions from nearly 200 participants around the world. The coming EXPO in Shanghai is going to be amazing. I personally like the Seed Cathedral and wish I could go.

Sushi Mac - West LA

I love Sushi Mac!!! I went today with a friend and we ate 10 plates of amazing sushi. At $3 per plate of 6 rolls, Sushi Mac is a real deal. This is a real sushi spot that the locals love. The music is always loud for the sushi chefs to enjoy and they play a lot of underground hip hop and electronic music. The setting is a room with a sushi bar counter surrounding the sushi chefs. The menu is in front of you, and the price list (every plate is $3) is on the wall. Check off your order and it is in the making. They make the sushi super quick too so your not sitting there starving. They take cash only but it is worth it. This is my favorite sushi spot in LA and try to go once a week. Their sushi is so good,it's addicting.

It’s already 6 Episodes in and for some reason I can’t stop singing the got damn theme song by Aloe Blacc titled “I Need A Dollar”. I figured, “hey, why not throw my 1, 2 on it!” lol

Where do you go at 3-4am to find good mexican food or something other then MickeyD's,Carl's jr or jack in the box, etc. Recently. I always hit this place up. It's seriously a late night hot spot. It is one place you know is always open and serves bomb food 24 hours. After a long night of partying this place is always super packed with other late night party goers. Cinco De Mayo has the biggest menu ever. The stand may be tiny but they serve up over 100 dishes 24 hours a day, including breakfasts, burritos, tacos, tortas, seafood, tamales, enchiladas, chile rellenos, pupas, and even hamburgers. It's a place you can rely on at 3-in the morning and the food is soooo bomb! I recommend this place as one hot spot every local must try.Located on the corner of Sepulveda and Washington Pl (not Blvd), sandwiched between Johnny’s Pastrami and Tito’s Tacos.

OBEY giant on Melrose in LA

I hung out on Melrose today, it was another perfect day to be out & about. I have always idolized Shepard Faiery & have fallin in love with his art. I started following his blog in the summer & love to see what he see's. He has been touring his art all around the world & installing these murals in different cities. I have been dying to go to a gallery show or just get to see one of his murals in person. Just a couple days ago him & OBEY giant crew installed a 56′ x 18′ mural at Barracuda on Melrose, using new patterns from his collection. I wish I could get him to do my walls in my room! If your in LA you should go check it out or even stop by Barracuda, they sell Obey clothes aswell.

Nike SB Dunk Low Premium - Larry Perkins

Previews of the Nike SB "Larry Perkins" Dunks have been floating around the interwebs for awhile now, but a new story is now attached to these sought after kicks. They use to be called the “Chirping Bird“ but they changed the name. Apparently, Larry Perkins is a fictitious character from around five years ago that made prank phone calls on behalf of Big Brother Magazine. Regardless of the back story, the sneakers are pretty dope on their own. Black denim covers the entire upper while black patent adorns the iconic Swoosh on the side. The whole package sits on top of a white and red outsole that accents the details on the tongue nicely. The only questionable aspect of the shoe is the furry interior liner which is definitely an element that not everyone will like. These shoes are sick but the fur is a let down for my taste. I am worried that the fur will smell and look awful over time, but I love the colors used for the shoe. They come out March 20th, so keep an eye out.

Magic & Bird: A Courtship of Rivals

The bond between Magic Johnson and Larry Bird has been analyzed for more than three decades. HBO's new documentary "Magic & Bird: A Courtship of Rivals" tells a whole new story that brings peace and true understanding of their rivalry. It takes a fresh approach of two men sitting down, reflecting on their rivalry and friendship over the past years. It's about how their relationship evolved over time. There is just something special about seeing both Johnson and Bird discuss the emotions and connection each feels with the other. Before I thought as a NBA fan I had to choose between the two, but after I watched the doccumentary I have mad respect for both men. They were both amazing basketball players in their own ways. I doesn't rewrite the history of the Magic-Bird rivalry, but it is an interesting new afterward look back. Props to HBO sports. It was a great documentary.

Nike SB Dunk High “Bruce Springsteen”

Before Rick Ross started calling himself “The Boss”, the real boss was none other than the legendary, Bruce Springsteen. With a career that started way back in 1972, Nike has put together a special Nike SB Dunk Hi in tribute to “The Boss”. The kicks take the “Born in the USA” album cover and slap it on a pair of shoes, well not exactly but they sis a good job taking what they could. The sneaks sport a denim toe, mid foot, and heel with the wings, along with Navy Blue mid panels a White toe box and tongue and a White and Red stripped “American Flag” on the upper ankle. You can look for these to drop this summer, I digg them so much, I love the gray demin against the white. I want a pair! Maybe even get my dad a pair.

Beach Day In LA

Today was probably one of the best days here in LA. The weather was perfect. I love LA summer days, definitely when its still winter time over here. I woke up at 11, put on my bikini, & headed straight to the beach. I needed to work on my tan & the sun felt so good. I met up with a friend & we had a good time. I never noticed how many women sunbathe topless before. I don't know if its something new but I saw more boobs then ever at the beach. I guess the tan outline on their bodies is more important then creepy old men staring at their tits.

I recently just started getting into the channel a couple weeks ago. At first I found it strange & space age but it's like watching national geographic but with a young adult edge. Current is about what's going on in your world: all the things you and your friends are actually interested in -- that you won't find on any other news site or cable TV channel. The channel features "pods," or short programs that are usually 3-to 7-minute, created by emerging filmmakers, citizen journalists and the most rank of amateurs -- the viewers themselves. The videos consist of people, stories, culture, life from all around the world. It's Almost like youtube but smarter, after watching you don't feel like you wasted 2 minutes of your life, you actually learn something about life. The short documentaries is one of my favorite parts about the channel. The topic of each video is completely random & could be about anything. One that really caught my eye was this woman who had a fetish for building cranes & building structures. She would go out everyday, hug buildings & got divorced because of her love for them. If you don't have that channel you can check out the website & it has tons of interesting videos.

Estevan Oriol is a well know Mexican American photographer from Los Angeles. I am so inspired by his photos and his use of black & white. His photos are gripping, beautiful, and are portraits of individuals fully immersed in L.A gang lifestyle. He has a retail store called the Last Laugh and just started his own agency. You can buy shirts & jackets with his photos on them, my favorite is "L.A." shirt, the one of the girl with long finger nails holding up the LA sign with her hands. His photography has a big influance on my art style, I love his detail of the real hardship of the hood. Can't wait for he's next open gallery. Check him out.
