John Wooden, he is the embodiment of the perfect student-athlete, teaching life as well as the game of basketball. He was like a philosopher, and players that played at UCLA under his amazing 10 NCAA titles (in 12 years!) are all interesting, thoughtful, progressive people in their own right, with a lot owed to the people that Mr Wooden wanted to teach and coach. His death is a sad moment for sports, but most importantly, its a sad time for all of collegiate activities. RIP
