Previews of the Nike SB "Larry Perkins" Dunks have been floating around the interwebs for awhile now, but a new story is now attached to these sought after kicks. They use to be called the “Chirping Bird“ but they changed the name. Apparently, Larry Perkins is a fictitious character from around five years ago that made prank phone calls on behalf of Big Brother Magazine. Regardless of the back story, the sneakers are pretty dope on their own. Black denim covers the entire upper while black patent adorns the iconic Swoosh on the side. The whole package sits on top of a white and red outsole that accents the details on the tongue nicely. The only questionable aspect of the shoe is the furry interior liner which is definitely an element that not everyone will like. These shoes are sick but the fur is a let down for my taste. I am worried that the fur will smell and look awful over time, but I love the colors used for the shoe. They come out March 20th, so keep an eye out.
